Remap Project

2017-2018

Along with the Heath Robinson Project, we also carried out the Remap project, which worked with the disability charity Remap to update and upgrade their motorised archery turrets. The team made great progress on various parts of the device, including using 3D scanning to create a custom mount for the bow. This project has now come to a close and the completed device has been handed back to Remap. It was wonderful to hear their feedback that disabled youngsters were using the device successfully and, in particular, that there was no recurrence of the previous problem which we had been asked to solve (the bow falling off its stand when arrows were 'loosed').
